Managers Comment: Simon has been the club captain since day one and as such has had the opportunity to lift the Malins Cup twice in consecutive seasons. He has led by example with numerous battling performances in the midfield engine room and has scored his fair share of goals in that time. Despite the number of goals he has scored he has failed to find the net from the penalty spot, most notably missing one in the last minute of an 18-0 triumph at Barcombe II in the 2004/5 season.
Captains View: aka Nipps, Captain. Don't let him anywhere near a penalty spot. Big tackles, tireless running and countless solid displays (excluding Ringmer away last season - 2 oggies is surely some kind of a record) have seen Simon captain East Court over 100 times. Recently made the move from centre midfield to centre back.
