Managers Comment: Carl has been an important member of the club since joining the side in 2002. He struggled to make an impact under Jim Seeds but things improved as the season went on and by the end of the 2004/5 season he had made more appearances for the club than any other player.
Captains View: aka Curl, an extremely versatile player, no-one knows if Carl is actually left or right footed. Carl has excelled at every position his manager plays him, apart from perhaps right back! The first player to get 100 caps for his club, Carl has made the left wing position his own.
